Meandering Series

Inspired by walking on the beaches of the South coast of England and picking up soft smooth pebbles, the Meandering Series gives the viewer a beautifully tactile experience when they hold the vessel, taking then straight to that primeval and sacred place on the beach. The vessels are sculpted in an intuitive manner with the aim of creating gently undulating organic shaped and asymmetrical forms. This new body of work allows for a canvas on the surface of the clay onto which minimalist designs are drawn, representing wondering paths and life cycles.
